Item: Property Tax Certificate

A tax certificate is generally purchased by lawyers dealing with property sales or when a mortgage is being approved for a property.

Property owners can visit 1^st Floor Customer Service to request a tax account statement. A Fee may be applicable as per the Fees for Service By-Law. Ensure to bring valid ID. Tax Bills can be stamped ‘Paid’ at no cost in office.

Property Tax Certificates are issued based on roll number.

Please ensure the Property Address is in Sarnia or Bright's Grove.

A separate Property Tax Certificate will need to be ordered if a property has more than one roll number, or if multiple Property Tax Certificates are required.

Property Tax Certificates are emailed to the address provided within the order once available.
