COMMUNITY SHARED AGRICULTURE (CSA)

CSA is an alternative food access and distribution method where the customer is linked directly to the farm. The customer, or CSA member, purchases "shares" in the harvest, paying at the beginning of the season and receiving a portion of the harvest over the course of the season; thus sharing in the risk and bounty of food production.  Read more about our CSA program.

Transaction of payment confirms your registration.  We will contact you if there is anything that needs to be addressed regarding your registration.

Those registered for CSA shares will be contacted to remind them of their first CSA pick-up day by email.

Online service fees can be avoided through payment by cheque payable with your completed registration form.

COMMUNITY GARDEN PLOTS

Your own little farm with various plot sizes for gardening annual plants, and limited biennial and perennial plots for seasoned gardeners.  Read more about our Community Garden Plots.

Transaction of payment confirms your registration.  We will contact you if there is anything that needs to be addressed regarding your registration.

Those registered for Community Garden plots will be contacted in May to confirm the date of the Spring Field Day, tentatively set for the 2nd or 3rd Saturday of May (subject to weather and soil conditions).  The Spring Field Day includes full orientation to the community garden plots and is the date that garden plot allocations will be posted on the Farm Information Board.

Online service fees can be avoided through payment by cheque payable with your completed registration form.

FARM'S RETURN POLICY

Cancelled registrations for CSA shares or Community Garden plots are subject to a $15 administration fee.  Contact the farm manager (farmmanager(a)ignatiusguelph.ca) to arrange for a refund of the remainder of your payment.

Community Garden plot refunds are only available until May 1.

CSA Share refunds are only available if cancelled in advance the start date of the share.

Uncollected CSA shares are provided to local service agencies at the end of the pick-up day.

Abandoned garden plots are not eligible for refunds.
