How do I setup eStore delivery schedules?

The delivery schedule option is designed to assign time slots for products to be delivered during a given day. This allows customers to anticipate when products such as perishables will be delivered.

Step 1 - Add a delivery schedule to shipping options Back to Top

Customers are matched to delivery schedules using postal or zip codes, or provinces or states. Delivery requests outside your delivery zone are not processed, and the number of available deliveries decreases each time a customer reserves a spot within a time slot.

  1. From the Delivery Methods section of the Shopping Cart service menu, choose Delivery Times.
  2. Choose Add Schedule.
  3. In Delivery Time Slots, enter the start and end time of each time slot.
  4. For each day in Deliveries per Time Slot, enter the number of deliveries that can be handled for each day.
  5. In Delivery Zone by Postal or Zip Codes, enter the postal codes or zip codes of the delivery zones you cover. For example:
    • V,T,S indicates delivery in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.
    • T1H,T1K, T1J indicates delivery areas in the city of Lethbridge, AB.
    • 981,971 indicates delivery areas for the cities of Seattle, WA and Portland, OR.
  6. In Delivery Zone by State or Province Codes, enter the abbreviation for the provinces or states you cover. For example:
    • BC, AB, MB indicates delivery in British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba.
    • WA,OR,CA indicates deliver areas for the states of Washington, Oregon, and California.
    • You can use a combination of codes to define your delivery zone. When you enter two codes overlapping the same region, the code representing the larger region applies. For example:
      • V represents the province of British Columbia
      • V3L,V3S,V3N represent neighbourhoods in Vancouver, British Columbia
Therefore, a combined list of V,V3L,V3S,V3N indicates delivery in all of British Columbia.
  7. Click Save.
Step 2 - Manage a delivery schedule Back to Top

As your delivery needs change, you can adjust the time slots or number of deliveries assigned to a time slot. You can also change the delivery zones by adjusting the postal or zip codes or the region codes for each delivery zone.

  1. From the Delivery Methods section of the Shopping Cart service menu, choose Delivery Times.
  2. Click Change.
  3. Adjust one or more options:
    • In Delivery Time Slots, enter the start and end time of each time slot.
    • For each day in Deliveries per Time Slot, enter the number of deliveries that can be handled for each day.
    • In Delivery Zone by Postal or Zip Codes, enter the postal codes or zip codes of the delivery zones you cover.
    • In Delivery Zone by State or Province Codes, enter the abbreviation for the provinces or states you cover. For example:
      • BC, AB, MB indicates delivery in British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba.
      • WA,OR,CA indicates deliver areas for the states of Washington, Oregon, and California.
    • Click Save.
