Why does the pay by cheque option not always appear during registration?

When someone registers online and makes an optional donation during the registration process, they are limited to paying immediately by credit card, as a tax receipt is automatically issued after the registration has been completed.

The system is designed to prevent your organization from issuing a tax receipt, when you have not yet received payment for the donation.

If a registrant wishes to pay by cheque, then they should not make an additional donation during the registration process. Separately, they can enter their offline pledge in their account.
