Data Management

Many clients are transferring their GiftTool data to an external database, such as the history of all online & recurring donations, event registrations, pledges, memberships and/or shop orders. To make it easy for you, GiftTool has created a variety of ways to simplify data management.

You can automatically transfer your GiftTool data through data sharing with FundRaiser Software or to your custom program using the GiftTool API.

For users of Raiser’s Edge version 7, you can generate import files for Raiser’s Edge within your GiftTool account.

For all other databases, you can generate a Custom Orders report with the necessary data, establishing the order that the columns should appear. Then just save the Excel spreadsheet as a CSV file for importing into your external database.

To reconcile the money deposited in your bank account, generate a Journal Report for credit cards transactions only.
